Wild About it Wednesday- Vintage Floral Print Dress

We had pictures made this past weekend for Claire's first birthday!  I had them done for Charlotte when she turned one so to be fair, I wanted to make sure that we had some of sweet Claire too!  I also wanted to have a few family pictures made too since Cliff is usually at work and not in any.

Since we were going to be in a few of them, I wanted a new dress to wear but didn't want to spend much on it.  My sister Anna bought this one in Charleston and I loved how cute it was in her pictures from Napa.  I'm super picky about my arms showing in pictures so I loved the flounce sleeves and was on the hunt for something similar.

See how cute she looked?  I tried to borrow it but she shrunk it in the wash......Bahaha!   She probably did it on purpose so that I couldn't steal it from her! 😜

It probably would not have fit anyways so my search continued.  I ordered this striped dress and really liked how it looked in all of the review pictures.

It was only 25$ but Cliff told me that I looked like I belonged in "Little House on the Prairie" so I decided not to wear it.  I would not have worn the tassels because I did not like the way the rope string cut into my mid section.

I then found this beautiful Floral Boho Dress for only 22$ so I immediately ordered it!

I of course loved the flounce sleeves and the wrap tie front!  It does not show that much leg.  The model is holding the dress open.  Since it is so cheap, it's relatively thin which was fine because it was HOT when we took pictures.  I'm not one to spend a lot of money on everyday clothes or dresses that I won't wear more than a handful of times so the 22$ price tag was awesome.  I think it photographed beautifully and I will definitely wear it again.  I ordered a Large and it fit great.  I am 5'7 and currently 145 pounds for reference.
